Hi! Planning trip #3 to WDW in Aug 2014. 2 adults kids will be 7, 5 & 2. Love the BC & BCV. Can I book a 1 bdrm at BCV? Also now that the 2014 rates are out how soon are the dvc properties avail for booking for non dvc mbrs? Excited!!!

    Hi Allyson,

Disney's Beach Club Resort is a great resort!  I can see why you and your family love it.  From a swim at Stormalong Bay to a quick walk to Epcot to grab a bite to eat in World Showcase, Disney's Beach Club Resort is a great place for a family vacation.

Your family can stay in a one-bedroom villa at Disney's Beach Club Villas.  The one-bedroom villa sleeps up to four people plus one infant.  An infant is defined as anyone under 3 years old, so your 2-year-old qualifies as an infant.  For the date of your vacation, nightly rates have been released and you can book villa accommodations using traditional payment methods such as a credit card.  The easiest way to do this is to call 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).  A cast member there can help you to see if the villa that you want is available at the time that you want it.

Since you are planning trip number three to Walt Disney World and really like a Disney Vacation Club resort, you may want to consider becoming a Disney Vacation Club member!  If you have not yet done so, I recommend that you take the Open House tour when you are on your vacation at Walt Disney World.  It is a low-key way to learn more about becoming a Disney Vacation Club Member.  There is even a kids clubhouse for your kids to play in while the adults take the tour! You can schedule a tour by calling 1-877-790-8687, or by visiting any of the Disney Vacation Club kiosks when you are at Walt Disney World.

I hope that this information helps, Allyson.  Please do write back if you have more questions in planning this vacation, or about becoming a Disney Vacation Club member!
