I am planning a trip to WDW on April 8-12th 2018. Woohoo! I am going to be attending some seminars over at Coronado Springs but I making this trip seemingly without involving the parks...we just want to resort hop. Which Resort would you choose to stay at?

Hello Fanya! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I hope you were able to get your purple MagicBand. I've never looked back after purple became an option.

I have often argued that the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are like mini-Theme Parks unto themselves and that Guests should plan some time to enjoy all that they have to offer. I have never been able to stay out of the Theme Parks completely during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, as it would make me jittery, but I do skip at least one Theme Park per visit to accommodate more Resort Hotel time.

If you are looking to Resort Hop, I recommend booking a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel on the Monorail Transportation loop or near Disney's Boardwalk Promenade as this will make your traveling much easier and maximize your time at the Resort Hotels.

On the monorail loop, I would go with Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for the charming theme, wonderful restaurants and overall unique experience. From there, you're a quick monorail trip to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (do the spa when you Park Hop!) and Disney's Contemporary Resort.

At Disney's Boardwalk Promenade, I would recommend staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort. It has the best pool area and dining options while remaining very close(and still relatively quiet) to the action at Disney's Boardwalk.

    Have a Magical Trip!
