Hey there Alison!
I'm so excited to hEAR you are planning your first Walt Disney World vacation since childhood! I can tell you from personal experience that there's nothing better than experiencing the magic of Disney through your child's eyes. You will be happy to know that children under the age of 3 do not need a theme park ticket for park entry.
Be sure to visit
Magic Kingdom Park. You will be amazed at just how many attractions your little ones will be able to experience at the iconic park. Don't miss Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and the nighttime fireworks spectacular. I also highly recommend booking an Advanced Dining Reservation for a
Character Dining experience. Character Dining is a great way to meet several Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal, and children under the age of 3 are not charged when sharing from an adult's plate.
Although each
Disney Resort hotel features unique theming and fun recreational activities, we often choose our resort based on our budget for that particular trip. There are Value, Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas available to fit every budget. My personal favorites include: Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Value), Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside (Moderate), Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (Deluxe), and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort (Disney Deluxe Villas).
I'm out of room for my answer, but please don't hesitate to reach out again if I can be of further assistance to you. Best wishes for a magical trip, Alison!
Happy Planning,
Jodie
