Michele:
If you liked the layout and room size of the All Star Resorts, you may want to look at
All-Star Sports this time. With its stories-tall sports motifs, it appeals to the high school set. My own 14-year-old son would probably find All-Star Movies juvenile now, as well as your son, so the sports resort is a good option with a nod to the familiar from your last visit. If your son isn't a sports buff, check out
Pop Century with a similar room size, layout and centralized main building for almost everything you'll need.
November can be hit or miss with the weather, but if you enjoy the pools at the resorts, you may want to consider a moderate resort for a nice pool upgrade not to mention a significant difference in your vacation experience. Our sons enjoyed Ol' Man River at
Port Orleans Riverside. The grounds of Port Orleans, extra square footage in the room, boat to Downtown Disney and a MUCH better food court as well as a table service restaurant made it worth the extra cost in my book. Some may see its park transportation as a con with multiple stops within the resort in comparison to the Value Resorts' one stop, but I feel this allows me to save a few dollars and not have to choose a more expensive Preferred Room simply to be closer to the buses. I think you'll find it is a definite step up for your vacation.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
