    Hello, I am planning a trip to come watch the cheerleading worlds next year and was wondering if a 16 and 17 year old would be able to check into one of the Disney hotels if we had an 18 year old book it for us online

    Hello Alex, 

    Thank you so much for asking me such a tiggerific question about planning your visit to Walt Disney World Resort during April 2023.  I'm sure that combining a jolly Disney holiday with being a spectator at the World Cheerleading Championship which is being held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from April 19th - 21st, 2023 would be such a lot of fun for both you and all your friends!

    Alex, it's certainly true to say that an adult Mouseketeer aged 18 years old and over is more than welcome to make a holiday booking with the UK-based Walt Disney Travel Company. 

    Additionally, I'm happy to confirm that as per the current Terms and Conditions of booking with the Walt Disney Travel Company, all minors aged 17 years old and under should indeed be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years old or over when checking in to a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.

    Alex, I understand this maybe not be the news you were wishing to hear.  However, in the meantime whilst you figure out your adult travel companions for your trip next April, I thought you may like to take a peek at the official ESPN Wide World of Sport website where Guests can check out all the upcoming future cheer competitions and so on.

    Plus, it might be good to know that my lovely friend and fellow planDisney Panelist Jackie H, has a ton of experience in attending the many cheerleading competitions held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex with her own teenage daughter and her competitive cheer team.  Therefore, I thought you may find it useful to perhaps stop by and ask her a question or 2!
