I am planning a trip to Walt Disney World in September of this year. We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. How much time should I typically allow for travel to the parks when using the buses?

    Hi Stephanie!

Thanks for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We have stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside several times; it's one of my favorite Resort hotels in all of Walt Disney World Resort! We really enjoy the beautifully manicured grounds and Ol' Man Island pool. In addition, there's lots of good old-fashioned family fun at this Resort hotel, like roasting marshmallows by the campfire. You will have a magical time!

Walt Disney World Resort Bus Service to and from the theme parks is complimentary and available to Guests staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. In terms of travel time, once you depart Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside for Magic Kingdom Park, the bus ride will take approximately 12-15 minutes. If you are traveling to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, the bus ride will take about 10-12 minutes. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is about 20 minutes away by bus. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes, so be sure to calculate this into your total travel time.

I hope this answers your question, Stephanie. Please stop back and let me know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip.

    Wishing you many magical memories!
