Hi I am planning a trip to Walt Disney world resort with a 6 teenager ages between 15 and 16. How does the check in works since I m gonna be the only person above 18?

Olá, minha amiga Maria Claudia! Bem-vinda ao planDisney! Thank you so, so much for stopping by with your question.

Wow! A trip to the Walt Disney World Resort with six teenagers sounds like a lot of fun! Teenagers are usually very fond of thrilling adventures and excitement-filled days, so I'm sure you'll be having tons of fun. I haven't changed a lot from when I was a teenager, but I do remember that all I wanted to do was ride the most popular thrill attractions like Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Space Mountain, and many other fan-favorites.

Since you're going to be the only adult present for the duration of your magical vacation, all reservations must be done under your name. This essentially means that you'll need to act as the party leader in terms of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, everyone's Theme Park tickets and Park Pass reservations, and any dining reservations. At this time, the Walt Disney World Resort requires one adult to be in charge of each room within a reservation, so you'll need to make sure to book a hotel room that will fit all seven of you comfortably. Some of my favorite Resorts for large parties include Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House and Kidani Village, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. If you're lucky, you could even secure a reservation for one of the elusive bungalows at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Now, on to the check-in process! Checking-in at your Disney Resorts Collection hotel is as easy as it is to get We Don't Talk About Bruno in your head. You'll be able to complete your check-in through the My Disney Experience mobile app prior to your arrival to the Walt Disney World Resort, and once your room is ready for you, you'll get a notification letting you know what your room number is. It really is magical! Thankfully, you won't need to stop by the Front Desk at all once you've received your room number. In fact, you can go straight to your room and unlock the door with your MagicBand or the Digital Key within the app!

Maria Claudia, I hope that you've found my answer to be helpful. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to come back and ask us! I'm also extending an invitation for you to visit my friends over at the planDisney Portuguese site, where they'll be more than happy to answer your questions in language.

    Tenha um dia mágico!
