Planning on going on a trip to Walt Disney World next year between January and May and wanted to know when the best time would be between January and May? We are travelling in a group of 8, we wanted to know the best value resort that would be best?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lory! Kachow! I have a few tools for you to make your vacation planning a little easier! In fact, it just may put the magic into it. I find that as soon as my dates and Disney Resort Hotel reservations are confirmed, my excitement level jumps to 10!

I always consult Undercover Tourist’s crowd calendar (you can google that) when I’m booking a vacation. They offer a strangely accurate crowd calendar based on a scale of 1-10 to show how crowded any given park will be. I believe you’ll find the late winter months and September fairly uncrowded. Second, if you have a group of 8, there are a few options for Disney Resorts. I’m assuming you can split into two groups, possibly 4 and 4, making the Little Mermaid rooms at Disney’s Art of Animation an enchanting choice. Secondly, two rooms at Disney's Pop Century Resort, with it’s fresh new makeover will be equally enticing. Those contemporary Murphy beds are simply DIVINE! Another option if you need a room for six would be the family suites at Disney’s Art of Animation. I find the CARS suites to be slightly less expensive and amazing in theming. Plus, the two full bathrooms are a wonderful perk for a large family getting ready in the morning.

If I can offer any more assistance to plan your vacation, just rev your engine. I’m set on green for GO! ~ Lindsey P.
