Hi. We are planning a trip to Walt Disney World next summer and are newbies at this. How do you purchase a photo pass? Can you do it ahead of time or is this something that you have to purchase at the park?

    Hello Kimberly,

It's such a happy feeling to plan a Walt Disney World vacation. When you arrive next summer you will be so glad you took this time to lay the groundwork for a magical adventure!

To obtain your Disney PhotoPass photos, videos and get all of your digital downloads, your best bet is to purchase Disney Memory Maker in advance of your trip. You can also purchase it in the parks and even after your trip but the benefit of buying Memory Maker in advance is that it's a little bit cheaper than waiting until you're in the parks.

Adding Memory Maker is simple. Just make sure you're logged into your My Disney Experience account and it will be automatically added when you make your purchase. Then, whenever you see a PhotoPass Photographer, stop by and get the whole family in the picture! And for some added fun, ask for the available Magic Shots when you take your photos. You never know who will end up in your pictures!

We'd love to answer any other questions as you plan your vacation, Kimberly. Thanks for stopping by!
