Hello, I am planning a trip with Walt Disney World and I will have my 18 month old son. Is there any rides at all he would be able to get on ? Noting his age and the fact he doesn't need an admission ticket to the theme parks.

    Hi Temara ~

I've been bringing my boys to Disney World since they were born. I'm here to assure you there are a lot of rides that your son can enjoy!

He can ride any of the attractions where there is no height requirement. One of the easiest ways to find a list of those is by visiting the Disney World Attractions page on the Walt Disney World website. You can filter the attractions by thrill level, interests, age interests, and height. By selecting "Any Height", it will show you the attractions that any Guest can enjoy, including toddlers.

Another useful link is the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones.

Here are some other things I've found helpful when traveling to Disney World with toddlers:
    * Make your FastPass+ selections ahead of time to cut down waiting in line.
    * Don't over plan every minute of your day. It will wear you and your son out.
    * Take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located in all four theme parks.
    * For those attractions with height requirements, use the Rider Switch service.
    * Bring something to help keep your son entertained in line - favorite small toys, snacks, bubbles, etc.
    * Give him breaks from his stroller.
    * Try (it may be hard) to stick to nap times.
    * Keep him well fed and well hydrated (that goes for you too).
    * Here are some tips on strollers in the parks
    * If you see that your son has had enough for the day, pack it up and head back to your resort. You may not get to do everything on your trip, but you will enjoy everything you do.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V..
