I am planning my trip to Walt Disney World, in May 2019, I am currently making my sons autograph book, and wanted to know if there will be any Marvel Characters that he would be able to meet? Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tiffiny! Character MEet and Greets have been the backbone of many of our family trips! The first time my son saw Magician Mickey, he was flabbergasted and barely said a word… just smiles!

While there are not many Marvel characters for you to see at Walt Disney World Resort (yet!), you may see a few! For instance, in Epcot’s Future World, you can still bump fists with Baymax inside Hiro’s workshop. Those squishy hugs from my nurse robot always make me feel better! For a short time, Groot and Star Lord were meeting in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but I believe by the time you visit, the space will be taken over by Mike and Sully. I hope that the Guardians of the Galaxy Awesome Mix Live returns to the American Gardens Theatre because it was so much fun! For more Marvel action, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney parks Blog. Perhaps Dr. Strange meet and greets will return, too! If it doesn’t take your buddy to the Marvel Store at Disney Springs. He can don some costumes and grab killer merch for his room back at home!

Have a wonderful trip and a GROOT day at home! Like Baymax would say, I hope you are satisfied with your care! ~ Lindsey P.
