We are planning our trip to Walt Disney World on March 14-22, 2017. Will there be Disney After Dark events during our stay?

    Hi Nicole,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel and bringing us your question.

You bring a great question. My most favorite time of day in Magic Kingdom Park is late at night when the park takes on a kind of magic that’s hard to describe.

You might be thinking of  Disney After Hours, the ticketed event where a limited number of guests can experience attractions and Character Greetings. From what I can see, this special event is not scheduled during your planned stay.

Nicole, you didn’t mention where you are staying during your visit, but if you are staying at a select hotel you can enjoy Extra Magic Hours during your visit. You can view the current park hours calendar to see when Extra Magic Hours will be available for Guests.

Nighttime is also an amazing time to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom ParkPandora – The World of Avatar
is simply breathtaking at night and provides an experience like no other when the sun goes down and the Valley of Mo’ara comes alive with light.

Here’s to the fun and magic you’ll enjoy all day long and after dark!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
