We are planning a trip to Walt Disney World in 2017. We are considering staying on resort for longer than our park admission tickets and are wondering what areas of the resort property allow admission without tickets. ie, D. springs, boardwalk, etc.

    Hi Lesa,

There are numerous entertainment options for which admission tickets aren't necessary. For instance, you'll discover a plethora of fun activities at both Disney Springs and Disney's BoardWalk.

One of my family's favorite things to do is visit, shop and Dine at Disney's best themed resorts. Below I list some Walt Disney World Resort hotels you simply cannot miss while on a "Resort Hopping" adventure.

    1. For the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, jump on the Resort Monorail making stops at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort. Don't forget Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds. Both are easily accessible via Walt Disney World® Water Transportation
    2. Enjoy a leisurely stroll at Disney's BoardWalk and stop by Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels
    3. If you don't have access to a vehicle during vacation, use the complementary Walt Disney World® Bus Service from Disney Springs to access Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This resort is magnificently themed and quite reminiscent of the grand safari lodges of Africa
    4. Don't miss Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's Pop Century Resort either. These two resorts are connected via the Generation Gap Bridge over Hourglass Lake

I also recommend booking a Specialty Cruise to watch fireworks from a very unique perspective!
