Welcome to planDisney, Christina!
A visit to The Most Magical Place On Earth during the most wonderful time of the year sounds ideal! Whether you’re attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or want to enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, you will undoubtedly experience a joyful celebration of the holiday season during your visit!
The current Genie+ service (Lightning Lanes) and Individual Lightning Lane entry will be replaced on July 24, 2024, with the
new Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass. With this change comes the ability to purchase Lightning Lane passes in advance of your Theme Park visit, choose attractions and arrival windows before purchasing a pass, and make plans for your entire visit (up to 14 days).
Guests of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels can purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Lightning Lane Single Passes seven (7) days in advance. This benefit is also extended to Guests of the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Shades of Green Resort.
All other Guests can purchase in three (3) days in advance.Christina, since you and your family are planning a visit during the holiday season, I recommend Resort hopping on your non-park days to take in the holiday decorations. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a beautiful gingerbread house display; Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort has one of the prettiest Christmas trees, in my opinion; and Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say from the land where palm trees sway at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
If you have any questions or want more recommendations for your upcoming vacation,
ask away! I’d happily share some of my favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels to help you make your decision, and I can also suggest the perfect dining reservations to book!
See you real soon!
