Hi, I am planning a trip from the UK to Disney Orlando next year, just curious if there is an age restriction (for people from outside of the USA?) for renting a room in the resorts.

Hi Emily, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations for planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in advance! When I lived in Brazil, I always thought of the distance as an advantage, as it is the perfect excuse to stay longer and choose a comfortable Disney Hotel!

The oldest Guest staying at Disney Hotel room must have at least 18 years of age, so make sure to plan your accommodations with that information in mind. If you haven't chosen the perfect Disney Hotel for this trip, please, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with more questions, as we love to share advice about our favorite places.

Whether it's at a beautiful Value Hotel like Disney's Art of Animation Resort, at Royal Room at a Moderate Resort like Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or at luxurious room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, this vacation will surely be amazing!

Planning in advance will also give you a great advantage to book your restaurants 180 days before your arrival, as some places are really hard to get. I always book most of my dining reservations at that point, as there usually are great time options available at busy places like Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table and 'Ohana (especially for dinner).

Remember to come back as more doubts pop up, Emily! You've got Disney friends in us!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
