Hi, we're planning a trip for 2/12. I have two sons who will be 3 and 2 at the time. I know these are two different resorts, but can anyone tell me the pros and cons between the Boardwalk Villas and the Bay Lake Tower Villas? Thanks for any help!

    Hi Loni,

These are both fantastic resorts, and you could really flip a coin and be happy with either. That being said, with two little ones, I would choose Bay Lake Tower over the Boardwalk Villas.

Bay Lake Tower is located on the monorail and is very close to the Magic Kingdom. In fact, you can walk there quite easily. Depending on which room type you book, you can see the fireworks from many of the rooms. Most likely Magic Kingdom is the park that you'll be spending the majority of your time with toddlers. You'll also be very close to Chef Mickey's, a restaurant that you'll want to definitely enjoy with your kids. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto greet guests during this fun meal.

Boardwalk Villas are located near the back entrance to Epcot. You can walk there very easily and would access Epcot via the International Gateway. In addition, you are a relaxing ferry boat ride away from Hollywood Studios. This is a fun resort, with great evening entertainment on the Boardwalk and many great restaurants.

As I mentioned, you are sure to be very happy with either choice, but given the ages of your children, I'd pick Bay Lake Towers for the close proximity to the Magic Kingdom.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
