Hello Moms! We are planning a trip 5/17/14-5/22/14. I am trying to take advantage of the Spring special, but I am between Pop Century and AS Movies. We have a 4.5yr old girl and a 2yr old boy. Movies Under the Stars sounds neat. Which would fit us better?

Hey Becky!  Your children are at such good ages to visit Walt Disney World, you are going to have such a great time.

I have stayed at both the Pop Century Resort and the All Star Movies Resort and can honestly say that you cannot make a wrong decision.  Both resorts are fabulously themed and great for kids.  Both resorts also show a movie under the stars so you can experience that at either place you stay.

I prefer staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort for a few reasons.  Pop Century has its own bus dedicated to the resort whereas all of the All Star Resorts share a bus.  When you have small children that are exhausted by the end of the day it is a lot more convenient to be able to head back to your resort without a lot of additional stops.  I also like that Pop Century is a newer resort.  I feel like because it is new it has better facilities.  I love the Hippy Dippy Pool at Pop Century and often times we catch an afternoon pool party while we are there.  The Everything Pop Food Court offers a variety of yummy breakfast, lunch and dinner options that will appeal to both adults and children.  Be sure to check out 2 unique dessert options, the twinkie tiramisu and the tie-dye cheesecake.  Both are groovy!

So I guess I am voting for Pop Century, but you know your family better than I do!  I promise there is not a bad pick!  If you have any other questions, I would love to help you out!  Have a great vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
