We are planning a trip towards the end of 2014, but want to come during the holiday season. We'd like to see the parks lit up with holiday lights, but would like to come while it's not too busy. What time period would you suggest? Thanks a ton!

    Hi Britt!

The holiday season is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort!

In my opinion, as long as you are not visiting during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's, the crowds should be bearable. If you visit during those holidays, a visit is still very possible but it will take some planning to ensure that you get to see and do all that you have in mind.

My family and I had our last visit the second weekend in December, and though it was the end of the Pop Warner Championships, the crowds were lower than they were when we visited in the summer.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have additional questions because we would love to help.

    Have a magical year!
