We are planning our trip for Thanksgiving week 2019. I do not know where to begin on choosing dining options. We have a 7 yr old and a 14 yr old.

    Hi Rachel,

When you visit Walt Disney World you'll find more delicious and mouth-watering Disney dining offerings than you can shake a spoon at.

Begin with what you know will be familiar and satisfying meal experiences. Could be hot dogs and fries at Casey's Corner. Could be barbecue at The Smokehouse. What ever you serve as your go-to meal where everyone is satisfied, there's likely a great place that serves it. Check the Walt Disney World dining options and search to find your favorites.

Next, move on to new adventures to experience. Maybe you can't wait to dine as Princess at Cinderella's Royal Table. Or dance with your favorite Pals at Chef Mickey's. Or hula while you dine at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Everyone in your group can choose something new to try.

Finally, think about a bit of the Thanksgiving holiday tradition. You can take a look at last year's Thanksgiving offerings to get an idea of what might be possible.

As you plan your stay, you'll begin to get an idea of which theme parks you'll be visiting and when, and that will help you arrange your dining options around your day's plans.

Rachel, do come back with more questions. We're here to help!

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
