I am planning a trip for our tennis team, but I can't figure out what to do for tickets and Disneyland park reservations in Anaheim .Please help Any day Jan 3 -9

Hello there Amy! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

Sounds like you're getting ready for a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth and I'm happy to help get you and the team on your way.

Currently, to visit Disneyland Resort you'll need both a valid theme park ticket, as well as a theme park reservation for the day you plan to visit. Although it is a good idea to not delay in making those park reservations, as they are subject to availability and may run out on certain days of the year, I've found there's usually quite a bit of flexibility with reservation dates. In fact, I just checked the reservation calendar, and as of the day of this writing, it looks good for the date range you specified.

Before purchasing your tickets for the team, Amy, you'll need to think about whether you'd like to visit one park for the day or both parks. If you'd like to visit both parks during your magical day, make sure to select a Park Hopper Ticket. You'll then need to select which park you'd like to begin your day in, as you are not able to park hop until after 11am.

If you have flexibility with your visit date, I recommend a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, as those days of the week typically have the lowest ticket price and crowds! (Although nothing is guaranteed!) Something else to consider as you're choosing your visit date, Amy, is that the Holidays at Disneyland run through January 7, 2026, so I recommend getting into the parks before the magical festivities conclude for the year. I recently returned from Disneyland, and I wouldn't want you to miss the magical snowfall on Main Street or the Toffee Pretzel at the cart near Star Tours - warm and delicious! Menus and entertainment are subject to change but there's always something wonderful to experience - especially during the holidays!

Amy, I hope I provided some helpful information for you and the team! As you continue to prepare for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, don't hesitate to come back and ask us another question! We'd love to share more about our favorite dining locations in Disneyland (most don't even require a reservation!) and our best recommendations for a truly magical time.

    See you real soon!

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
