Hello! We are planning a trip summer '09. Trying to decide if end of June, July or beginning of Aug. is better. Is there any time at all during those months you recommend for smaller crowds? We have to wait for school to end since I am a teacher.

I have only visited during the beginning to mid-June. Yet after asking other summer visitors, doing research and looking at statistics, I think you'd be better to go in June.

Be sure to steer clear of the days leading up to the July 4th holiday, however.

The earlier in June that you can travel, the smaller crowds that you will enjoy.

Just make sure that you stay hydrated and bring a mister fan. Go back to your hotel and swim during the hottest part of the afternoon!

As a mom getting ready to send my son to third grade, I just have to say thank you to all teachers!
I wish you a magical vacation!!
