Planning a trip for summer 2014 w/ my 4 kids ranging from age 8 to an infant and my mother who has limited mobility due to a foot and knee injury. Which resorts can accommodate a party of our size in which we need to stay together not in separate rooms?

    Hi, Kim!

I love that you are planning ahead for your summer 2014 vacation!  It's never too soon to start planning for your magical visit to Walt Disney World.

My first thought would be a Family Suite at a Value Resort.  Your choices would be the All-Star Music or Art of Animation.  Art of Animation is newer but more pricey so if you are on a budget, stick with All-Star Music.

The wonderful Family Suites will sleep up to 6 guests plus one child under the age of 3 who can sleep in a pack and play.  Each Suite has 2 full bathrooms, kitchenette, a cozy queen bed in one room, and accommodates up to 4 guests in the living room with pull-out sofa beds.  Since your mom has mobility issues, make sure to request a handicapped accessible room.

I hope this is what you are looking for!  If you have other needs, let me know and I will help you find the perfect room for your vacation.  Have fun planning and we will See You Real Soon!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
