Hi we're planning a trip this summer and are considering splitting our stay between the Fort Wilderness and the Polynesian. How would we get our luggage from one hotel to the next mid-week? Is this even possible?

    Hi Betsey!

Splitting resort stays is an excellent way to experience Walt Disney World and you have chosen two of my favorite resorts!  Transferring luggage is super simple.  Simply take your luggage to Bell Services at either resort (this will be at the main check-in area at Fort Wilderness) and just let them know you are switching resorts and you need your luggage transferred.  They will tag your bags and give you a claim ticket.  You may not receive your bags until the end of the day, so take out anything you will need before then.

Another option is to take a taxi and transport your luggage yourself.  Fort Wilderness and the Polynesian are really close to each other, so a cab ride between resort should be less than $20.  You can have a Cast Member call you a cab at the front desk.

    Have a magical day!
