We are planning a trip and staying at the Pop Century Resort. On the day we check out, it will be mother-in-law's birthday. Is there anything that we could do to surprise her in the morning either in-room or at a restaurant at the hotel?

    Hello Megan,
Oh I can just imagine how excited you must be feeling about your upcoming trip to stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort and of course the anticipation of celebrating your dear Mother-in-Laws birthday on your last Disney day!
In my opinion there's nowhere more magical to celebrate than Walt Disney World Resort and I would perhaps consider using the skills of the lovely folks at Disney Floral and Gifts to supply you with a practically perfect in-room birthday surprise.
In addition be sure to collect for the birthday gal a complimentary I'm Celebrating pin which are generally available from most Guest Services.  Wearers of these cute pins will often get 'happy birthday' salutations from Cast Members and other Guests alike!
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort please pop back to ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day.
