Planning a trip starting September 17, 2010. How can I find out which Park rides and attractions are closed for refurbishment during our trip?

    Hi Audrey,

As of right now, it looks like all attractions will be open during your visit! However, the schedule is subject to change.  Finding out which attractions will be closed for refurbishments is easy.  Simply click on the PARKS link at the top of the main website.  Select PARK HOURS from the drop down menu.  If you click HERE, I've done the first part for you.

At the top of the page you'll see, "View Hours for 10 Days Beginning:"  Simply click on the calendar icon and select the start date of your vacation.  Scroll down to view the operating hours for each park, and at the end of each list refurbishments (if any) will be listed.

Keep checking as changes to the schedule can occur at any time.  Finding out your favorite attraction is closed as you walk up to ride it is definitely NOT magical!  At least this way, you'll be able to plan for any possible disappointment.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
