I am planning a trip for spring 2017. I have a two year old and an infant. When is the best time to try and go to Disney and where should I stay to have easy access to Magic Kingdom?

    Hi Anna Marie!

Thanks for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Like you, I am always trying to figure out which times of the year are least crowded at Walt Disney World. It's a tough question since the number of people visiting at any given time is very unpredictable. I have noticed, though, that higher crowds usually coincide with school vacations and since you are looking at spring for your trip, I would recommend avoiding spring break weeks as much as possible. My family has had good luck the first week or two of March. As far as a great place to stay that is close to Magic Kingdom, I would definitely recommend Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort--all of which are direct stops on the Monorail line, which also stops at Magic Kingdom. When my children were young, staying at one of these Resorts made it simple to travel to and from the Park and easy to pop back over to our hotel room for nap time in the middle of the day. I know you will love the convenience!

I'm so excited for your upcoming trip and hope you will come back to see us if there's anything we can do to help you as you plan. Here's wishing you many magical moments during your time at Walt Disney World.

    Have a wonderful day!
