Planning 1st trip for our sons ( 5 & 7 yr. old). We are thinking of coming either May 27-31 OR in October for their birthdays (10/29 & 10/31). Which is a better time in terms of crowds, lines, weather? Thanks for any suggestions to help us decid

Crowd wise both dates would probably be just about the same.  The parks can be from moderate crowds to very crowded.  The May dates normally will be much warmer then the October dates but you never know with the Florida weather!!

I would definitely suggest you come in October so your sons can enjoy their "free" park entrance on their birthdays and you can help them celebrate with many different ways this year at Walt Disney World.  You can review the seven pages of ideas by clicking HERE.  You might want to consider also getting Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets for Halloween night on the 31st.  That is a very popular event and all guests are encouraged to wear their finest costumes and it is fun to see the creativity that families bring!  Be aware that Halloween night sells out quickly and those tickets go on sale tomorrow, May 1 by calling 407-934-7639.
