We are planning a trip for my sons third birthday this May. Since he will be turning 3 while we are there will we have to pay for his tickets? Also, do they do anything special for Birthdays?

Hi, Alison!   If you son is 2 upon arrival, he "remains 2" throughout your vacation, so you will not need to purchase a park ticket for him.   Make sure to pick up a free Happy Birthday button at guest services, and when you are at a table service restaurant, let your server know you are celebrating a special birthday;  Sometimes, a sweet birthday treat is brought out!

When we are in WDW for a birthday, I like to bring along a big birthday card instead of an autograph book and have all the characters sign it.  This is a great way to remember a magical birthday.   Happy Birthday to your little prince!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
