Hi! I am planning a trip for my sons 3rd birthday. He will be turning 3 when we are there. Do I need to purchase him tickets?

    Hi Josh!

In my opinion, Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite place for a party, so it will be the perfect place to celebrate your little one's birthday! In fact, we celebrated my younger son's third birthday during a trip to visit Mickey Mouse and he had such a special day. Be sure to get your son a complimentary birthday button from Guest Relations or your Disney Resort hotel front desk so Cast Members and other Guests can make his day extra magical. My son got a special birthday song from The Dapper Dans when they saw his button!

When Guests visit Walt Disney World Resort, they don't age, which means that your son's age at the start of your vacation will be considered his age for your entire trip. Guests who are 2 years old and under are special Guests of Mickey Mouse and receive complimentary admission to the theme parks. So since your little guy will be 2 years old at the start of your trip, he will be considered 2 years old for your entire vacation and you won't need to buy a theme park ticket for him for your visit. (This means you can save on his admission tickets and use that extra budget for more Dole Whips and souvenEARs!)

Be sure to purchase Memory Maker for your visit so you can capture and save all of the birthday memories you make during your vacation. And let us know if you have any additional questions as you make plans for his special visit. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
