Hi there, Amanda!
From one Disney-loving parent to another, welcome to planDisney. Some people are wary about taking their little ones to Walt Disney World, but I’ve been taking my boys since they were a few months old. Has it been worth it? Even now that they have paid
annual passes? Yes! Being able to visit the same place with my kids that my own mom brought me when I was a little girl is quite special. You won’t regret looking through the old photos of his smile while riding attractions and hugging his pal Mickey Mouse.
Little ones who are aged 2 and under are considered “Guests of Mickey” and can visit without valid theme park admission. They can also eat for free at
All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurants and can join you in
Lightning Lanes for free (as long as they can meet the possible height requirement). Mouseketeers aged 3 and older do need valid theme park admission to tap into the magic.
Although your little one needs paid admission, I feel like once kiddos hit
3 years old, it makes the trip that much more worth the while. Their eyes are opened to the little details and bigger thrills. I am obsessed with videos of my babies at the theme parks, but there’s something cool about them asking the characters questions and telling me what their favorite part of the day is.
I’m sending pixie dust your way, Amanda. If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit with your son, give us a holler here at planDisney.
I’m all ears!Magic always,
LeAndra
