Walt Disney World sounds like the perfect place to spend some quality time with your son, Kyla. You two are in for a treat!
I see that your visit is scheduled for March. Have you made plans to attend the
Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival? My favorite part of this annual event is perusing the
Outdoor Kitchens and stopping for small bites and sips as we wander around the World Showcase. Of course, the beautiful and creative topiaries make an excellent backdrop for fun photos, too!
You don't mention how old your son is, but I'm happy to suggest some of my favorite things to do in the theme parks.
Pandora - The World of Avatar is located within Animal Kingdom. If your son is tall enough (the attraction has a 44" height requirement),
Avatar Flight of Passage should not be missed. While you're there, grab lunch at
Satu'li Canteen. The bowl-based menu items there are both versatile and tasty.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, is a jaw-dropping experience, too. You'll feel as though you've crossed into a galaxy far, far away as you wander around, exploring
attractions, shops and
snack options.
While you're at Magic Kingdom, keep an eye out for the fun
character cavalcades that journey down the parade route for unscheduled celebrations each day.
Don't forget to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app before you leave home. You can use it to navigate through the parks, check attraction wait times and schedule dining reservations. It's a super handy tool!
I hope these recommendations help kick off your planning, Kyla. If my panelist friends and I can be of more assistance, don't hesitate to stop in for additional advice. We're happy to suggest restaurants or resorts that would be a good fit for your preferences!
