Greetings Claire, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, and I'm happy to assist you today.
Since you're lucky enough to be one of Mickey Mouse's closest neighbors, you are eligible for some fantastic deals on theme park tickets and hotel stays in the
Disney Resorts Collection. My parents reside part-time in the Sunshine State and love taking advantage of these special offers.
At the moment, Florida residents qualify for discounts on one, two, three, and four-day standard and
Park Hopper tickets. These tickets are subject to expiration dates, and
a four-day ticket must be used within a week of its selected start date. If you are looking to travel in both September and December, you'll need two separate tickets, one for each visit.
To purchase tickets, make sure you're logged into your
My Disney Experience and have a Florida address listed in the My Profile section of your account. That's the key to accessing the treasure chest of special offers! Then on the
Walt Disney World home page, use the Parks & Tickets dropdown menu and under the "Admissions" heading, select "
Florida Resident." From here you'll be able to view ticket options and prices for your dates.
Once you've finalized the ticket purchase, be sure to make theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass System. There is
a lot of excitement on the horizon this fall and winter in the Most Magical Place on Earth, and you won't want to miss any of the fun! Lastly, you'll need to officially verify your Florida residency; you can
do this online or at Guest Relations upon arrival at a theme park or
Disney Springs.
Phew! I hope you got all of that, and are ready to get the magic started for your fall and winter getaways. In addition to discounted admission, Floridians are also eligible for special rates in the Disney Resorts Collection, so I recommend
checking to see if any of the current offerings work for you as your travel dates approach. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and if you think of any other questions as you prepare for your jolly holidays, come see us again. We're all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Betsy
