Aloha Jen,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Summer will fly by, and soon you'll find yourself right in the middle of
The World's Most Magical Celebration! You're going to love all of the special details including new nighttime shows,
Beacons of Magic in all four parks, and the
50 golden character statues throughout the park. There's even one of Stitch in Magic Kingdom as you head toward Tomorrowland!
Like you, I am crossing my fingers and eagerly awaiting the return of some of my favorite character dining experiences.
The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom with Winnie the Pooh is one that I love, and
'Ohana in Disney's Polynesian Resort with Stitch is another. Although it's possible characters could return by the fall, it's best to assume meals at these locations will be character-free until there is an official announcement. Stay tuned to
Disney Parks Blog for any changes. Even with Experiment 626 missing, with its
all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast skillet (including the pineapple-coconut breakfast bread) 'Ohana may still be a great place to start your day at Disney, and if character dining does return you'll have that added bonus.
In the meantime, Magic Kingdom is where I usually have luck finding everyone's favorite blue alien. He often makes appearances at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, located near
Space Mountain and
Carousel of Progress. There isn't a published schedule, but if you happen to wander over there and see Buzz Lightyear, I'm sure his cast member pal may be able to give you some hints about when Stitch might make an appearance.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
