Planning a trip for September, and I'm wondering which waterpark is better to visit for a 4 and 6 year old. My 6 year old is 49 inches but not a super strong swimmer and my 4 year old is 40 inches and swimming without a floatation device. Thanks so much!

    Hello, Kristin!

You will be happy to know that both Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park have age appropriate attractions for both of your children.  Both parks have areas specifically designed for the younger set.  It is likely you will share your time between the areas dedicated for the big kids and little kids.  Aside from that, your choice will really come down to the theming you prefer most. When my kids were smaller, like yours, they really got a kick out of the theming at Blizzard Beach.  The story goes that a bizarre winter storm hit Walt Disney World and hence Blizzard Beach was created.  Imagine you and your children are at a ski resort....only you're not! Trust me, you just have to experience it!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
