Hey there, Tammie!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by. It's my pleasure to assist you today. As a military spouse, I know a thing or two about booking a trip and making the most of the
available benefits. Now, let's get to your question.
Shades of Green is a beautiful resort located in the ‘Disney bubble.’ I've had the pleasure of staying here many times, and let me assure you, you won't be disappointed. The rooms are spacious, the location is perfect, and the pools are wonderful. My boys almost love the resort as much as they enjoy the parks! I really appreciate that there's a resort exclusively for U.S. military personnel and their families. The Exchange offers great souvenir options, plenty of snacks, and a variety of miscellaneous items in case you forgot to pack something. We love grabbing ice cream from the lobby; it's become a special part of our nighttime routine.
When it comes to Walt Disney World theme park tickets, I strongly encourage you to order them in advance. Since there isn't a local base nearby, I recommend purchasing them directly through Shades of Green. It's a simple process, just fill out their
ticket form, and you'll be contacted to process your order. Your theme park tickets will then be emailed to you. You will then be able to easily add them to your
My Disney Experience account. The
Military Salute Tickets are an incredible offering that my family has taken advantage of multiple times. One of the best perks of buying directly from Shades of Green is that the tickets are pre-activated, so you can skip the activation step upon arrival. I encourage you to buy your tickets as soon as possible, so you can make your
theme park reservations to ensure entry on your preferred days and link everything correctly for easy
Lightning Lane selections.
Tammie, once again, thank you so much for your question and for trusting us. On behalf of all of my pals here, I'd like to thank you for your service. Please come back and see me if you have any other questions.
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
