We are planning a Trip in September and would like to attend MNSHP. Do we need a park ticket and MNSHP ticket to attend or can we just purchase MNSHP tickets?

    Hi John,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by.

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party
is one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm glad you are planning to attend during your September vacation. Have you decided if you're going to wear a costume? I love to see the clever costumes that some guests wear for the occasion. Do keep in mind that it will likely be warm in September as you plan what to wear. And be sure not to miss the Happy HalloWishes Fireworks during the party. They are breathtaking!

Guests who plan to attend the event can enter Magic Kingdom Park with their ticket to Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party as early as 4 p.m., even though the party start time is typically listed as 7 p.m.. As long as you do not plan to enter Magic Kingdom Park before 4 p.m., you do not need a separate admission ticket to Magic Kingdom Park. I like to spend time shopping at Disney Springs or enjoying the pool at my Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the morning and early afternoon of the day I attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Then I have a full day of fun and relaxation without having to use a separate theme park ticket.

Let us know if you need any additional advice as you plan your autumn adventure.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
