We are planning a trip in sept. I received a 40% off coupon off value resorts, should I use it or wait to see if the free meal plan comes out? we will be there for 8 days...

I would use the coupon. Usually accommodations is the largest expenditure for a WDW trip. You can always save on meals by eating mostly counter service, having cereal or granola bars in your room for breakfast and bringing your own water bottles.

Discounts on rooms are more difficult to obtain and your creative choices for savings is more limited.

To see if this applies for your family, call and see what the room rate would be for your resort. Look up the room’s rack rate. Then go to allearsnet.com and look at menus.

If your hotel savings, exceeds what you would normally pay for meals, then book the discounted value resort!
