We are planning a trip Sept 18-24 2011. We will be celebrating our twin daughters 16th birthday. How is the weather at this time of year? Are the crowds picking up every year with free dining being offered at this time?

Hi Kimberly! Although I am a Summer baby and love the heat of the Florida sun in the Summer, I must admit that travel to Walt Disney World Resort in late September/early October was very nice. The weather was in the pleasant range of high 60s to mid 70s.

Free Disney Dining is an excellent incentive for guests to busy Walt Disney World Resort. However, the Theme Parks still tend to be busier on the days that a specific Park is offering Extra Magic Hours. Fast Pass really does help make certain that you ride your favorite attractions and crowd levels at this time of the year are not a concern.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
