We are planning a trip for Sept 2013..can't wait!! My husband and 3 sons are fishing obsessed! At Port Orleans fishing hole are you allowed to bring your own poles or do you have to rent the cane poles?

Let the men in your family have their fishing fix while you take a big fat nap or have a massage.

Yes you may use your own poles at the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island. Fishing here is catch and release and typically closes in the early afternoon. If you decide not to fool with packing your rods, a fishing package of cane rods and bait for a family of six is only about $12.50 per half hour.

I love how you are already planning your Walt Disney World vacation a year ahead. Please come back to the WDW Moms Panel if you have additional questions as you work to create a magical experience for your family.
