We're planning a trip this Sept. Can you book a WDW resort and dining plan only? I'm trying online and it keeps including park tickets as well, which we already have. Also, is the new T-Rex place included on the dining plan? Thanks! We can't wait to go!

    Hi Nikki!

In order to take advantage of the dining plan, you need to book it as a part of a package which includes tickets. You will need to purchase at least a one day base ticket for each person in order to get the dining plan for your stay. The good news is that you can save these tickets for a future visit as long as they aren't used. You can get them taken off of your room key and put on a paper ticket at your resort concierge or any ticket window.

The only exception to this rule is if you have annual passes. Passholders can book a package with room and dining plan only. This can be done by calling Disney reservations or booking your vacation through the Passholders portal on the Disney website.

Currently the T-Rex Cafe is not one of the restaurants that accepts the dining plan. If you would like to dine here you will have to pay out of pocket, but that means that you'll have an extra dining credit that can be used towards one of the dinner shows or signature restaurants that require two table service credits!

I hope this helps. Have a wonderful vacation!
