Planning trip for Sept 13 for 4 Adults, 5 kids and a toddler (3 years old). We prefer to stay in 2 bedroom (cause of points) is that possible with 10 people(even though 1 would be in a crib)? If we have to do a 3 bedroom, convince wise which villa is best?

    Hi Denise,

I actually called Member Services to verify your question.  The Disney Vacation Club policy for guests in a two bedroom villa is as follows:  you may have up to nine people plus a child under three.  Once the child is three years old, he or she counts toward the room total.  So in your situation, a two bedroom villa would unfortunately not work.  You can definitely book a 3 bedroom Grand Villa.  These villas are huge and so beautiful! They sleep up to 12 guests.  If you are doing this, I would suggest Old Key West as the points are usually much less than any other resort and the rooms are bigger.  What I would recommend instead would be to book two one bedroom villas that sleep five each.  The resorts that sleep five in a one bedroom villa are Bay Lake Towers, Animal Kingdom Villas, and Old Key West.  You can book online at www.dvcmember.com or by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800.  Although you will not be guaranteed rooms near each other,  by talking with a Cast Member either after you have booked online or during the booking by phone, they will be able to flag your request.  Just for your information, most of the cribs available in DVC rooms are Pack-N-Plays which are not recommended for most three year olds. When my kids were smaller and not yet used to a "big bed," we would take out the padded board from the Pack-N-Play and put it on the floor for them.  I hope you have a magical vacation, Denise!
