Hey there, Lane! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you've stopped by with your planning question!
Wow! A springtime trip to Scotland sounds absolutely amazing! Right now, the extent of my family's global travel is happily exploring EPCOT's World Showcase, but when our daughter is older, we will definitely be using our Disney Vacation Club Membership to travel the world. I have a long list of must-see destinations, and Scotland is definitely on that list, so I'm thrilled to help you plan this life-changing adventure.
Lane, your friend is correct! There are actually a couple of great options to travel to Scotland while still getting that magical Disney difference that we have all grown to expect and love about a Disney vacation. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can exchange your Vacation Points with
Interval International to discover the world, including several cities in Scotland. Just log in to your account on the
Disney Vacation Club website and click the "Interval International Vacations" link under the "Destinations" tab. You will have to
call Member Services to deposit your Vacation Points, but you can explore the many Resort options in Scotland under the Resort Directory online. Just click the "Book with Interval Online" button to begin your search.
Even if you are not a Disney Vacation Club Member, another fabulous way to explore Scotland in luxurious Disney style is to book one of the FABULOUS
Adventures by Disney. One (or more) of these adventures is at the tippy top of my Disney bucket list, and the
eight-day tour of Scotland looks absolutely breath-taking. Be sure to check out the
Adventures by Disney website to see the
itinerary, dates and rates, how to request a brochure and how to book. If you'd prefer, you can call (800) 543-0865 to book or with any questions. This Scottish vacation looks like it is fit for royalty and would be absolutely unforgettable.
Lane, I am wishing you the most magical journey to Scotland this spring! Please stop by any time with any of your vacation planning questions. Adventure is out there!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
