I am planning a trip for a school group. I only have 10 students. I want to know if we can purchase meal tickets for this size group.

    Season's greetings, Stephanie!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth this holiday season with young Mouseketeers. I can't imagine a more special place to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year! I'm here to help you prepare for a wondrous wintertime getaway with your students.

Stephanie, due to the small size of your travel party, I think the best way to manage meal budgeting for your group may be to provide each student with a Disney Gift Card to pay for meals. This is the strategy my family always uses to budget for each Walt Disney World Resort vacation, as Disney Gift Cards are accepted as a valid method of payment at almost all dining and merchandise locations on property! As a general rule of thumb, at the time of writing, I usually budget about $15 per person for a breakfast meal, and $20 per person for a lunch or dinner meal at a Quick-Service restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort. Table-Service restaurants will be more variable in price. Snacks in the theme parks may cost between $5 to $15 at the time of writing.

The My Disney Experience mobile app features mobile food and beverage ordering, making mealtimes a breeze, even with larger parties! Simply place your order in the mobile app, select a pick-up time, and your order will be prepared as soon as you arrive at the restaurant. I'm happy to share that Disney Gift Cards are accepted as a method of payment in the My Disney Experience mobile app, so the checkout process should be easy and quick for each of your students.

Stephanie, if you haven't already, consider looking into Disney Imagination Campus. This education-based organization may be able to assist you with your group's travel plans! With Disney Imagination Campus, your students won't even realize that their thrill-packed vacation is doubling as a valuable learning opportunity.

I hope you've found this information useful, Stephanie, and I wish you and your students an unforgettable trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any more questions before your vacation, you can always revisit us right here at planDisney. We're here to help you enjoy every magical moment of your very merry vacation!

    Happy holidays,

    Lauren
