Hi!! So We are planning our trip and have our reservations all done but my question is in regards to Dining reservations and magical extra reservations. Can you make dinning reservations 60 days in advance for your ENTIRE trip or does it go day by day...

    Hi Elizabeth!

Welcome back to planDisney.  Can you think of anything more enchanting than watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle as you ring in the New Year? Talk about starting 2023 off with a bang!  I'm so excited to hear that you'll be celebrating all the possibilities of the upcoming year with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

But what New Year's celebration would be complete without the perfect dining reservation, right? Let me share a few details about making Walt Disney World advance dining reservations to help you get the upcoming year started on the right foot.  While dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or campground get an extra sprinkle of pixie dust when it's time to grab a table.  That's because Resort Guests can begin making reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days out from their check-in date.  If you'll be checking in on December 31st, you can begin making your dining reservations at 5:45 AM EST on November 1st.

The holiday season is one of my favorite times to visit Walt Disney World Resort, but it's also one of the busiest times of the year –– especially between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.  Historically, we've even seen the parks reach capacity during this time.  Because of that, I recommend using the Disney Park Pass system to make your theme park reservations as soon as you purchase theme park admission.  Since reservations have been filling up quickly around holidays so far this year, the sooner you can do that, the more likely you'll be to find availability for all four parks during your visit. You can make Disney Park Pass reservations right from the My Disney Experience mobile app, so be sure to put that on your vacation planning to-do list.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Elizabeth.  If you think of more questions as you plan your upcoming visit, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always happy to help!

    Happy Planning,
    Amy
