Planning a trip and just had a question on FL resident ID verification. Do both adult IDs need to be verified online when we purchase tickets, or will we both have to bring them to the park to verify at pick up or just the purchasers ID? Thanks! Courtney

    Hi Courtney!

Thanks for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So yes, both adults would need to provide proof of residency, whether it is online or in person, when purchasing a Florida Resident Discount Ticket. I recently purchased a ticket for my husband and although I was able to pay for it, the ticket was not active until we arrived to Epcot and provided his Florida ID at the ticket window.

For each ticket or pass purchased for an adult, you must provide any of the following: valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address); valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address); or a valid Florida-based military ID or other proof of residency. If you have any of these ID cards, you can verify residency online instead of having to stop at Guest Relations when you visit the parks. In order to do this, you have to fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form after you purchase Florida Resident tickets through the Walt Disney World Website or complete the “Customize Your Tickets” step when you purchase through the My Disney Experience app.

Did you know? Florida Residents have many special offers available to them! For more information, please visit this page: Florida Resident Special Offers.

Hope this helps Courtney! It has been a pleasure assisting you. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
