Howdy Shelley!
Just to ensure all DVC options are considered...How many villas do you need? Could you do a studio or do you need the larger villas? Do you have any points you can bank or borrow? If you obtain One-Time Use Vacation Points, would that give you enough points? You might contact Member Services and see if they have any suggestions based on your Home Resort, use year and number of points.
Other options:
1. Contact Member Services and ask if there is a cash discount available for your villa during your stay. There are no DVC package discounts but they might be able to get a villa booked for you (for cash) so that you can extend your vacation and stay in the same resort.
2. Check the
Walt Disney World website or contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and ask if there are any packages available.
3. Visit aaa.com/Disney for some great offers from AAA. (If you are not a AAA Member, you might find that a Membership would more than pay for itself based on your vacation package savings.) We used AAA last year when we were out of points. They provided great service and offered a few different opportunities we had not experienced.
You will need to be creative but this is absolutely doable. You may have to change resorts but Disney makes that a seamless process and gives you the opportunity to experience a variety of resorts.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know. I know you are going to have such fun planning this very magical vacation! I wish I knew more of your specific details as I might be able to provide you with more definitive information. Regardless, thanks for the question and I know you will come up with the perfect solution!
