Planning a trip for possibly 11 people (ages 3-69) the week before Christmas. Can't decide btwn Pop Century or PORS. Concerned about the walking for my mom (to the bus-stops, food court, etc.). Where would be better to stay for better bus-stop service?

If your choice is between Pop Century and Port Orleans Riverside (POR), I would choose POR. Bus stops are closer to the rooms at POR because multiple stops are offered throughout the resort. Your family could choose the closest bus stop to your room or if you visit the food court in the morning, you could utilize the bus stop closest to the food court. Also, the Sassagoula Riverboat to Downtown Disney is a pleasant ride. The food court is much more relaxing at POR. The week before Christmas, Port Orleans Riverside will also be delightfully more festive.

I'd like to offer another option though. Port Orleans French Quarter is the sister resort to POR. It is a charming resort with quaint features. There is much less walking here than at any of the other value or moderate resorts. This compact resort would be a great compromise for your family.
