Hi! Planning a 9/12/15trip at POR Alligator Bayou (room for our 5) Is there any room or area in particular that you recommend me requesting? We've never stayed at this resort before. Closer to pool, but away from noise as well? Thanks for any advice!

Hello Kelly,

You have come to the right place! Being that one of my all-time favorite resorts is Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, I am happy to help you in your inquiry.

Ol' Man Island where the Fishin' Hole main swimming pool is located is just as it states on an island all by itself, so finding a room close enough to it while still not being right near it for noise control is quite convenient. I would suggest requesting a room in either building 38 or 27. These buildings are right across from Ol' Man Island and a short distance walk over a bridge to the pool area. Please keep in mind that these requests can't be guaranteed and are based upon availability upon check-in!
