We are planning a trip to P.O. French Quarter this August. Can we reserve a cot in one of these rooms? And if so, how much do these cost? We will still only have 4 people in the room. Thank you!!

Hi, Aimee! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

In my opinion, August is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! Crowds seem to dwindle down with “back to school”, and there are often great Special Offers! Hot days just mean more time to relax at my Disney Resort hotel pool!

Unfortunately, it is my understanding that Disney Resort hotels no longer offer rollaway cots due to safety concerns. The only exception to this is for a pack-and-play crib. I am not sure what availability is like during your magical vacation, but Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-Riverside (which is just down the Sassagoula River from where you are currently booked) has rooms with special hideaway beds and fit up to 5 Guests! Although you will still only have 4 people, having an extra bed makes it a little easier for certain sleeping arrangements.

Whether you decide to alter your accommodations or stay at beautiful Disney’s Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter, try to make it out to see YaHaa Bob Jackson! He truly is a hoot for the entire family!

I hope this helps you with your planning! Come back again real soon!
