One of the many
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is using your complimentary
MagicBand to charge food and merchandise purchases to your room during your stay. I really love this feature because it allows me to leave my wallet behind and travel light!
When you make a reservation, you are required to provide a valid credit card to be linked to your account. This card stays on file and may be used to pay for expenses charged to your room, including purchases made with your MagicBand. You can only add one card to your account, but you can choose another form of payment to pay for your balance. Stop by
Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel anytime during your stay with your mother and request to see your room folio. Go over the purchases with her, select the dining expenses she would like to pay for and proceed with payment using her preferred method of payment. I stop by Front Desk the night before check-out and use Disney Gift Cards to pay for my full balance, this way the credit card I have on file is never charged. Please note, however, that the credit card you have on file is automatically charged after midnight on the date of check-out or anytime you reach a certain spending limit. Cast Members at Front Desk can confirm this limit upon arrival so you can plan accordingly.
